If you ever find yourself stuck in a medieval battle, you know your dog will have your back, right? So, it only stands to reason a Japanese retailer has introduced a new line of samurai armor for man's best friend.
Novelty store Samurai Age announced a new line of armor for dogs and cats on June 7, but good luck getting your cat to wear it.
Inspired by the warriors of medieval Japan, the body armor's standard size fits a small dog or cat, but custom sizes can be crafted for larger pets.
It's made out of foam and resin, and it comes in four colors.
If you buy the armor in red or black, it'll cost you ¥14,040, or about $128.
If you want your pet's armor in gold or silver, it'll set you back ¥16,416, or roughly $148.
Should your furry friend require even more protection, Samurai Age also sells samurai helmets.
Good luck with that, cat owners.
